PBI Media - InfoTech Appoints Mark N. Ricca Managing Director Of Enterprise Consulting Practice November 1, 1999 PARSIPPANY, NJ (November 1, 1999) - PBI Media-InfoTech, the Parsippany-based arm of PBI Media - the world's largest consulting and research firm dealing exclusively in the telecommunications industry - today named Mark N. Ricca of Fairfield, NJ, managing director of the Enterprise Consulting Practice. The announcement was made by Alan Mendelson, president and CEO of PBI Media of Parsippany and London. A 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Ricca has been called upon to lead the Enterprise Consulting Practice, the division of PBI Media-InfoTech that provides consulting to telecommunications consumers. "Adding Mark to our Enterprise Consulting Practice team is a significant development in the continued growth of PBI Media-InfoTech," said Mendelson. "His impressive track record and expansive history will reinforce our position as the industry leader." Ricca holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He also attended the AT&T Advanced Data Communications Training Program in Cooperstown, NY, and currently holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Northern Kentucky Telecommunications Association. Most recently, Ricca was the managing director of the Gartner Group Telecommunications Consulting Practice. Previously, Ricca was vice president of the Telecommunications Consulting Practice for Coopers and Lybrand; director of marketing and sales for Ericsson Information Services; and division manager, market planning for AT&T. Prior to joining AT&T, Ricca was the corporate communications manager for American Express, where he was responsible for the planning and implementation of multiple worldwide data and voice networks serving 290 major locations.
